Why A Disney Blog?

It’s no secret that the Disney blogging/vlogging/instagramming world is huge, so why try and add our name to it? Two years ago exactly, there were five strangers who moved into an apartment in Orlando and began working for a mouse named Mickey - you may have heard of him before. Typically DCP roommates don’t all bond and get along, but the five of us instantly clicked. And here we are, still Disney sisters who travel together, play together, and are always chatting. We are all very blessed to go on Disney vacations, whether it is with each other, family, or friends. We count our lucky stars each time we experience anything Disney.

There are five of the Sisters from Disney. It includes Erica, Jaycee (me, hello everyone!), Kaitlyn (goes by Kat), Katelyn, and Taylor. We are all previous cast members - go #DCP2015! - at the Walt Disney World Resort. Among us we had various roles across the parks and resorts and not one of us had the same role. We bonded over cronuts, mini corn dogs from Casey’s, and french fries on the hub grass. After our program ended in April, we moved back to pursue degrees, careers, and other various life goals. We occasionally have been able to sneak in trips to see each other, and even a few Disneyland trips. But no matter what, we are all still sisters at heart.

Erica and I were chatting about our upcoming Disney travel plans this year and realized that between the sisters, we have quite a few Disney trips planned. I had mentioned that I will be taking my dream trip {eat my way through Disney} to WDW in June and wanted to document it some way. Within our discussion, she brought up that she had thought about starting a blog or vlog for Disney, but hadn’t yet… and then our own magic happened: we created Sisters from Disney! We are hoping that this will help us not only remember the unique experiences we are blessed with, but also help others in their travels and finding the magic in everything they do. Enjoy and have magical day!

Jaycee

As a little girl, I went to Disneyland a few times, but my true love of Disney sparked my freshman year of college. I had the chance to do a quick weekend trip to Disneyland with two friends. During this trip, I fell completely back in love with the entirety of the Walt Disney Company. It was then a few months later, my family ventured to the opposite coast and visited WDW. Here I met a CP, who inspired me to start my own Disney Journey. A few years later, I can’t get enough of Disney (ask anyone who knows me)!

I have been extremely blessed to become a Disneyland AP holder, Walt Disney World AP holder, go on a Disney Cruise, and visit Hong Kong Disneyland. In 2018, I will be visiting Disneyland Paris. I plan on eventually visiting Tokyo Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland.

I love all things Disney food, Disney merch, and Disney entertainment. You can usually find me in the park, drinking a coke and waiting for a show or parade. If you ever see me, be sure to say hello! I love making new Disney Friends.
